The anticipation could begin because it was a pleasantly busy day in the Competa IT office on the day of the event. Around 5 o'clock we all carpooled to Scheveningen. After arriving at the Blue Lagoon beach bar, the first drinks were quickly served and we could all toast to a beautiful summer.

Despite the cloud we could enjoy a pleasant temperature out of the wind. While we were enjoying the drinks and having fun with each other, everything was getting prepared for the barbecue. A large basket of sandwiches appeared, the fire was heated up and the first skewers of satay were baked on the barbecue.

the food

The buffet started with a large basket with all kinds of fresh kaiser rolls, of course with fresh herb butter. In addition to the rolls, there was a choice of various fish and meat dishes. You could choose from white fish, different kind of chicken satay, bratwurst and all kinds of other dishes, such as burgers and vegetables.

After dinner, we drank some more drink together by the fire. We also took a group photo with almost all our Compete IT colleagues to memorate this event. Finally, a last round was done with the remainding colleagues of the group (the hard core of Competa IT) to close this event.

All in all, a very pleasant evening with colleagues, where we caught up with each other and enjoyed tasty food and drinks! Cheers!
