It was that time of year again when the days were getting shorter and the nights longer. October is known for its spooky atmosphere and scary stories. Also a month full of excitement and challenge for our developers, because it was time for a new event!

At Competa IT we have specially transformed one of our office rooms into a dark, spooky Halloween world. The decor was eerie with streamers, ghosts and bats hanging around, and mysteriously dressed staff walking around.

Before the pub quiz could start and our brains were put to work, we first had a delicious meal. We enjoyed dangerously delicious burgers on fresh buns, with cheese, lettuce, tomato and bloody sauce! These scarily delicious burgers were perfect to get our energy levels up before we started the quiz.

And then the time had finally come: the start of the Halloween pub quiz! Several teams prepared for this challenging quiz. To get into the right atmosphere, they came up with team names that fit the theme of the evening.

But this pub quiz was no ordinary pub quiz; there was a lot at stake! We had put together a spooky prize package especially for this event, full of sweets, chocolate and other treats. In addition, there were also gift vouchers for the winners, so that in addition to their knowledge, they were also rewarded with a nice present.

The questions in the quiz were not for the faint of heart. They were about all kinds of creepy facts and figures, from horror films to scary folklore. Our developers had to rack their brains to find the right answer. The atmosphere was intense and everyone was focused on achieving victory.

As the evening progressed, it became clear which team really excelled in knowledge and strategy. They answered question after question correctly and steadily built their lead over the other teams. But nothing was certain until the final round, because you never know what can happen during a Halloween pub quiz.

Finally the moment came when all the questions were answered and the points were counted. The winning team was announced: team Kingdom Farts 2.0! Not only did they receive the spooky package full of treats, but also the coveted gift cards.

The Halloween pub quiz for our developers was a success! It brought our colleagues together in a fun and relaxed atmosphere, where they could test their knowledge and have fun. At Competa IT we believe that in addition to hard work, it is important to also spend time on team building and having fun. Events such as this Halloween pub quiz help us to strengthen our bonds and further develop as a team. We are already looking forward to the next event!
